I have found it an honor to play a role in the lives of those who have entrusted me with the truth of their internal world. While it is intense work at times, therapy can be very rewarding for clients who are readying themselves to face their discomfort and distress if they are willing to work hard in and out of sessions.  Hard work in therapy with me can look like being willing to try and practice new skills during and between sessions.  It can also be engaging in other homework assignments or spending time learning to support yourself in loving, nurturing and protective ways.

We can collaborate so you are able to prepare to encounter the experiences of the past and present with support in the "here and now". I specialize in working with those who have a history of trauma, losses/grief and attachment woundings.  The after-effects of such issues can often show up as signs and symptoms like depression, anxiety, dissociation, addiction, emotional dysregulation and relationship issues.

I received my basic training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy in 2018 and find this  can be an effective tool to help process trauma and a variety of issues. Info regarding EMDR from the International Association website:  https://www.emdria.org/about-emdr-therapy/

I am also trained in The BLAST Technique©️ (Bi-Lateral Analysis and Stimulation Treatment) since 2020.  Info regarding The BLAST Technique©️:  https://blast-technique.com/

I also offer DNMS (Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy) as an approach to assist clients with attachment woundings.  Info regarding DNMS:  https://dnmsinstitute.com/clients/slideshow/

I offer in-person and virtual sessions using the above mentioned approaches plus other forms of psychotherapy.  I see individuals ages 16 and up.  And I am paneled with multiple insurances including BCBS, Aetna, Cigna and Evernorth, Optum, United Healthcare, Medicare and some Medicare Advantage Plans.
